Redeem Azure Pass (Azure Pass)

To take tests and labs for some courses, you will need to have an Azure account.

When applicable, Nanfor will provide you with a voucher (identifier) called Azure Pass, With which you can create a new Azure account, and in turn a Subscription with a balance that you must manage for a month.

Important note: We recommend that you previously learn how to manage and control expenses in Azure so as not to quickly deplete your balance.

Student inquiries

And if I have a question, what should I do?

Students mainly have the following forms of contact:

Consultation Forum: It is located within the Nanfor Ibérica training portal, located among the resources at the beginning of the course. It is the best tool to interact with your trainer, in order to:
Make an inquiry about the course content
Comment on some additional content
Review the comments or interactions of other students.
Email: The main objective of e-mail communication is to solve technical problems or interact (reminders, invitations, inscriptions…) with the student.

Password to access the courses. I can change it?

The Nanfor support team can only track those students who keep the password provided at the beginning of the course.

Any change in the password would mean the inability to maintain the support service. So the student would go from individualized support to self-study and could not reward the course.

Nanfor courses and content

The contents on which Nanfor Ibérica courses are based are of different origins, they can be official contents of the manufacturer, contents developed by Nanfor Ibérica and contents that Nanfor Ibérica selects so that the training experience adapts to the expectations and objectives of the action formative. This means that certain courses can have different origins and components.

The forums, monitoring and monitoring activities are carried out by Nanfor Ibérica.

The only means of communication of the courses, regardless of the content, is through the Nanfor Ibérica platform, forum and / or email.

Duration and postponements of courses and practices

The courses have specific start and end dates. These dates of completion are based on the data sent in the proposals to those responsible for the purchase (sometimes it coincides and it is the same participant who takes the course and in many others the course is hired by the human resources manager).

The dates of certain training resources are fixed, cannot be postponed and cannot be extended. Next, we show a couple of specific cases of the so-called training ‘resources’:

MOC On Demand, currently have a generic completion term for all their courses (You can see more information here). Although the student accesses it from the Nanfor Ibérica portal, it is an official Microsoft package acquired with closed dates.
Online Laboratory - Microsoft Course: (You can see more information at here). Training resource whose start date is established in writing with the student, once they have started their training on the portal and with the associated Digital MOC.
The associated deadlines cannot be changed without a new purchase.
These resources will not be returned or replaced once sent if the course participant, within a maximum period of 72 hours, does not notify support@nanforiberica.com with acknowledgment of receipt of the incident due to lack of operation. Any cause such as vacations, increased workload or other circumstances, in the case of a modification that affects these resources, cannot be attended due to their expiration dates.

Support assistance may only be extended by Nanfor Ibérica's technical and / or training team, if the causes were justified, and always with the aim that the participants achieve their objectives.

Official Certification Exam

An official Certification exam allows you to demonstrate your knowledge, internationally, endorsed by the manufacturer (Microsoft, Oracle, LPI, EXIN ...).

1) If you want to get certified and have purchased a Training + Exam package, you should know:

Each exam has its own characteristics according to the type of exam and manufacturer, generally they are usually included in:
Language: In English and sometimes other languages such as Spanish.
Duration: From 90 minutes to 150 minutes is usually the maximum duration on average.
Place: In an authorized center such as Nanfor Ibérica with an exam supervisor. On specific occasions they can be done online and depending on the manufacturer, this option implies an extra cost.
We recommend that no more than 2 months pass since a candidate completes a course and takes the exam (In order to review-expand concepts some time after training and not forget them in turn). The maximum period to take an exam with the Training + Exam package is a maximum of 6 months after the end of the course (although it will depend on the length of the course / courses and the availability of the center / candidates).
Nanfor Iberíca has many students in the teletraining modality and the manufacturers it represents have remote certification methods without having to go to a VUE center.

In the case of wanting to take the exams in person:

In some of its centers Nanfor Ibérica offers the possibility of taking the exams. They are normally held for students of the entity, on the last Friday of each month. To request the exam dates, contact the consultant who managed the course.
In case you have agreed on an exam date with the consultant, in order to present yourself, you must complete all the information on a registration form that we will provide you by mail at least one week before the exam. You have a chip example and how to fill it here.
2) If you want to get certified and you have not purchased a Training + Exam package, contact us and we will inform you of the existing possibilities.

Test exams What are they for and what are they like?

To help you prepare for an official certification exam, we put at your disposal (within the training courses), exams in PDF version with sample questions.

Although these questions-answers have been developed by experts, this material should be used to know the format of the questions and become familiar with them, but there may be some whose answer is not adequate.

FOREVER You must contrast the answers with the theory of the course, additional resources (for example, consulting your tutor in the Forum) or reviewing the official Technet websites of Microsoft, Oracle, etc.

No, the entire training environment is online, not downloadable.

Obligations of the student enrolled in an online course

In addition to carrying out the learning activities, the student will always have to confirm receipt of registrations, correct access to the platform, receipt of any component of the courses that requires personal access and verification of their use (for example, laboratories, official material from the online manufacturer, digital MOC, OD MOD, Oracle courses or urls with another type of access to complete the course).

The participant will have a maximum period of 72 hours to indicate any incident in the access or in the material, once the email has been received in their inbox. If you do not perform the relevant accesses and tests within the periods indicated by support, due to the expiration dates of the resources, these may not be operational for learning when access is requested later. It would be necessary to place a new purchase order.

Technical requirements - Skillpipe

Skillpipe is a free tool for viewing MOCs. It is available for multiple systems and can be accessed through most modern web browsers. It currently has two versions.

If you need to access Skillpipe through a specific device, or have limited connectivity, you also have this mode. It allows you to download the course and view it offline, but keeping a couple of things in mind:

If you use this offline version, you cannot sync your notes, bookmarks and progress with your account.
To get the most out of your training experience, we recommend that you use Skillpipe with an internet connection. If your course is rewarded, this recommendation becomes an essential need.

Support 2.0. If I contract the course with this level of support, do I have an expert who will carry out personalized and individualized follow-up?

The type of monitoring that is carried out with support 2.0 is detailed in https://catalogo.nanfor.com/pages/soporte-2-0.

Interaction with the expert takes place primarily through Nanfor's training portal, the Forum and Email. Doubts and questions are resolved through answers in the forums or videos on questions explained at the time by the expert in online sessions. If necessary, the expert would organize an online session with the student and group of students to explain the corresponding doubts. The description of the query items can be found here.
In the case of wanting a personalized daily monitoring by a support expert, it could be done in individualized sessions that, depending on the times, would be carried out as tailored classes and contracted for this purpose.
The monitoring, tasks and activities are marked by the official indexes of the courses and is the educational path that the student must follow.
